I am Back !

Life has been quite interesting in many ways over the past few months.

I started a few things… and, well, I didn’t finish all of them 🫣

People often say that the hardest part is getting started. I think that’s partly true. But from my experience, the hardest part isn’t starting, it’s staying consistent. It’s showing up again and again, even when life gets in the way.

Anyway… I’m back.

Over the past few months, I’ve been busy living life.

I’ve been working, thinking about what I want my next career move to look like, questioning myself, falling in love (maybe with someone, maybe with new landscapes or even both 😏). I traveled to Morocco for my mum’s 50 anniversary, welcomed my family to Ghana, created memories in Togo, Côte d’Ivoire and few other places, met new people and spent countless hours simply trying to figure life out. Ish.. life is not easy ooo !

Some seasons are meant for creating stories. Others are meant for living them.

This past season was definitely about living.

Now, with a little more time on my hands (thanks to losing my job), and as I begin this new adventure across Tanzania and Kenya, it feels like the perfect moment to come back.

Not because I have all the answers. Not because this trip will be perfect. But because I genuinely want to share my experiences with you.

Traveling has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. I’ve never felt more alive than during my seven-month journey a few years ago (time flies !). It’s difficult to explain, but when I travel, I feel completely present. More curious. More grateful. More myself.

That’s what I want to write about.

I want to share the moments that don’t make it into travel brochures: conversations with strangers, unexpected challenges, meals I’ll never forget, places that surprise me, expectations versus reality, lessons I’ve learned, and the reflections that naturally come when you’re far from home.

Because travel isn’t just about discovering new places.

Sometimes, it’s about discovering yourself.
